سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه ایران، اسماعیل بقائی، در گفتوگویی با شبکه سیانان ای-lang[ stated that Iran will never compromise on its right to peaceful nuclear energy, including enrichment. According to the رسا news service, بقائی noted that if the goal is to ensure Iran’s nuclear program remains peaceful, reaching an agreement could be straightforward. However, he emphasized that if the aim is to prevent Iran from exercising its right to peaceful nuclear energy, it would complicate the entire negotiation process significantly.
In response to questions about the understanding of the Trump administration and the Vienna talks regarding Iran’s enrichment rights, بقائی stated that the continuation of negotiations indicates a level of mutual understanding. He reaffirmed that under no circumstances will Iran abandon its right to peaceful nuclear energy, including enrichment.
Regarding the possibility of reaching a compromise, بقائی expressed confidence that there are multiple ways to achieve this. He stated that Iran is committed to ensuring its nuclear program remains peaceful and will remain transparent about it.
Addressing the pressure from the United States and the Zionist regime during negotiations and threats against Iran, بقائی said that such threats are not constructive. He highlighted that Iranians have historically shown resistance to any form of pressure, and they will continue to defend their national security with a united voice.
